The poll, slated for November 20, covers 1.5 lakh voters in a mixed Hindu-Muslim-Sikh constituency. Minhas directed EVM checks, voter awareness drives, and security for 200 booths: “Ensure inclusivity for women and seniors; no lapses.”
For Nagrota’s residents – farmers from Akhnoor facing flood losses (70 bridges damaged) – it’s a voice amid rehab.
