Lt Governor Addresses Athletes at All India Police Judo Cluster in Jammu

Jammu, October 11, 2025 – Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha addressed 500 athletes from 20 states at the 10th All India Police Judo Cluster in Jammu yesterday afternoon at 4 PM, praising their role in promoting unity and fitness.

Held at the Jammu Police Lines, the event drew participants from diverse forces, including women judokas from J&K Police. Sinha, handing medals, said: “Sports bridge divides; J&K’s youth shine here.”

For Jammu’s locals – Hindu students from Talab Tillo, Muslim trainees from Akhnoor, Sikh coaches from Samba – it’s inspiration amid floods (150 lives lost). Coach Rajesh Sharma, 55: “Our kids need this; post-flood stress eased by mat time.” The cluster, ending today, saw J&K win 5 golds. Sinha pledged Rs 10 crore for sports infra.
