JAMMU, October 5, 2026 – Emphasizing the continuous promotion of regional languages and literature, Qalamkaar-The Writers’ Group successfully hosted a literary event on Sunday to release “Sun Meri Dhiye,” a new Dogri poetry book authored by renowned writer Anuradha Attri.
The book release function, held in Jammu, was graced by DIG Shailendra Singh as the chief guest, while acclaimed Dogri writer Beena Gupta presided over the ceremony. The literary gathering brought together several prominent figures from the regional arts and cultural sphere, including Sahitya Akademi awardee P.L. Parihar, Mohan Attri, Randhir Singh, and Neha Verma among other distinguished guests.
During the event, speakers highlighted the importance of preserving the Dogri language and celebrated Anuradha Attri’s contribution to regional poetry.
