J&K DGP Nalin Prabhat Reviews Security Preparedness at Doda-Kathua-Udhampur Trijunction

DODA, September 10, 2026 – Director General of Police (DGP) Nalin Prabhat visited a joint security post situated at the Doda-Kathua-Udhampur trijunction on Tuesday to review the overall security situation and operational preparedness. During his visit, the DGP was accompanied by the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Jammu Zone, Deputy Inspector Generals (DIGs) of the DKR and UR Ranges, along with the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Doda. Together, the senior police officials conducted a thorough assessment of the strategically important area, focusing on counter-terrorism measures, surveillance protocols, and enhanced area domination.

The joint security post at the trijunction is collaboratively manned by the Special Operations Group (SOG), Rashtriya Rifles, and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF). While assessing the deployment, DGP Prabhat took the opportunity to interact with the security personnel stationed there, commending them for their alertness and strong commitment to maintaining peace. Emphasizing the importance of an integrated approach, the DGP stressed the critical need for continued vigilance and seamless, close coordination among the different security forces to effectively tackle emerging security challenges and further fortify the regional security grid.
