LG Manoj Sinha Interacts With Mumbai Media Delegation, Highlights Infrastructure Modernization in J&K

SRINAGAR, October 9, 2026 – Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Thursday interacted with a delegation of media representatives from Mumbai at Lok Bhavan in Srinagar.

During the interactive session, the Lieutenant Governor highlighted the rapid pace of infrastructure modernization currently underway across the Union Territory. He emphasized the administration’s sustained focus on bridging developmental gaps, enhancing regional connectivity, and fostering sustainable economic growth in Jammu and Kashmir.

The visiting media delegation is currently on a comprehensive four-day tour of the Union Territory. Accompanied by Western Railway Chief Public Relations Officer Vineet Abhishek and other senior railway officials, the delegation’s primary objective is to assess, study, and report on the region’s expanding rail network and large-scale infrastructural projects.

The visit by the Mumbai-based journalists is expected to provide broader national visibility to the developmental milestones being achieved in Jammu and Kashmir, particularly in the realm of rail connectivity, transport upgrades, and civic infrastructure.
