RAMBAN, September 15, 2026 – Leader of Opposition in the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly and senior BJP leader, Sunil Sharma, held an extensive public outreach programme in Ramban on Monday. Accompanied by BJP District President Neelam Langeh and other senior party leaders, Sharma met with numerous delegations representing diverse sections of society to discuss their pending demands, grievances, and everyday concerns. During the detailed interactions, Sharma assured the residents that their issues would be taken up directly with the concerned administrative authorities and that he would personally ensure necessary steps are initiated for their immediate resolution.
Emphasizing the party’s commitment to the region’s development, Sharma declared that the concerns raised by the people of Ramban will be strongly highlighted by the BJP during the ongoing Assembly Session. He assured the delegations that the BJP remains firmly committed to amplifying the voice of the common citizen and ensuring their legitimate demands receive due attention from the highest levels of government. He pledged to continually pursue these matters concerning day-to-day lives, infrastructure, and regional development with the relevant departments until they are definitively addressed and resolved.
Launching a sharp critique against the ruling administration, Sharma stated that the BJP would continue to stand firmly with the people of Jammu and Kashmir and fiercely oppose any policies or decisions detrimental to their interests. He asserted that the party will remain the strongest voice of the people, actively working to expose the “anti-people policies and misgovernance” of the National Conference (NC) Government. Concluding the outreach event, Sharma reiterated that the BJP will remain highly accessible to the public and will relentlessly fight for the rights, development, and overall welfare of every section of society across the Union Territory.
