JAMMU, August 31, 2026 – The Tawi Wonderland Park in Bhagwati Nagar transformed into a vibrant cultural hub over the weekend as hundreds of families, youngsters, and visitors gathered for ‘Euphoria – An Evening to Celebrate Culture’.
Organized by Jammu Smart City Limited (JSCL), the three-hour event offered a lively blend of soulful music, energetic dances, and traditional performances, highlighting the region’s diverse artistic heritage.
The celebration was graced by the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police Jammu, Shridhar Patil, as the Chief Guest, alongside JMC Commissioner and CEO of Jammu Smart City Limited, Dr. Devansh Yadav. Several other senior officials, local artists, and members of the public also attended the event.
The evening commenced on a spiritual note with a Ganesh Vandana, seamlessly transitioning into a meticulously sequenced lineup of musical and dance acts. The audience was treated to:
- Traditional Dogri and Kashmiri folk dances.
- Vocal performances by local Dogri and Punjabi singers.
- A high-energy, lively Punjabi dance presentation that added a broader regional flavor to the celebrations.
Addressing the gathering, DIG Shridhar Patil emphasized the importance of such community events. He noted that Euphoria provided a safe and welcoming public space for people to come together, strengthening community engagement and encouraging families and youths to participate in cultural activities.
Dr. Devansh Yadav echoed this sentiment, stating that the JSCL’s initiative aimed not only to promote the rich cultural heritage of Jammu and Kashmir but also to provide a prominent platform for local artists to showcase their talent. He added that the Tawi Wonderland Park is actively being developed as a vibrant public space for social and community activities, moving beyond its role as just a recreational destination.
The massive turnout at the event underscored the growing popularity of Tawi Wonderland Park as a premier destination for public gatherings in Jammu, with the venue remaining lively throughout the program.
