Jammu – November 7: A 23-year-old youth was found dead under mysterious circumstances inside his rented accommodation in the Miran Sahib area on the outskirts of Jammu district on Saturday morning, police officials reported.
According to preliminary police reports, the deceased has been identified as Chander (23), a native of Bihar who was residing in rented premises while working in the area. Upon discovering him unresponsive in his room, local residents and authorities rushed him to Government Hospital, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, where attending doctors pronounced him brought dead on arrival.
The body was subsequently transferred to the hospital mortuary for medico-legal formalities, including a post-mortem examination, to determine the exact cause and circumstances leading to his demise.
Miran Sahib Police have registered the incident, initiated formal inquest proceedings, and launched an investigation to ascertain all surrounding details.
